The Steering Committee was hosted recently (April 28-May 4, 2001) by Takis Champouridis, Michael Glykeria and PA.SY.DY, the Cyprus Civil Servants Trade Union. In addition to the Steering Committee, delegates from the Greek Camping Association and the Russian Camping Association were also present to participate in tours of camp facilities, cultural programs and the ICF Annual General Meeting.
The Steering Committee met over three days and a summary of the minutes of the meeting will be available by June 1st on this ICF website. Amongst other highlights, Bill Oakley and Jack Pearse signed the official Congress Agreement for the Sixth International Camping Congress in Melbourne, Australia in January 2003.
